Hello, Im Karri Owner of Karring Birth
I’m a mama, wife, and birth worker who believes in the beauty, wisdom, and strength of our bodies. My journey into this work began with my own transformative experiences of pregnancy, birth, and motherhood—chapters that reshaped me in ways I never could have imagined.
After years of “infertility” struggles and being diagnosed with endometriosis at a young age, I never imagined having children of my own would even be possible. Walking through those challenges not only shaped me as a woman but also deepened my compassion for the many different paths families take to parenthood. When I finally became a mother, it was the most humbling, life-altering gift—a reminder of resilience, hope, and the miracles our bodies are capable of.
Those tender seasons taught me that birth is not just about welcoming a baby into the world—it’s also about welcoming a new version of ourselves. It is powerful, raw, and deeply sacred. That’s why I feel so called to walk alongside families in this time: to be a steady presence, a source of encouragement, and a gentle reminder that you are not alone.
As a doula and educator, I bring a holistic, heart-centered approach to birth and postpartum care. I honor not only the physical process but also the emotional and spiritual layers of this passage. My role isn’t to tell you how things “should” be—it’s to listen, to support, and to help you feel grounded, informed, and held every step of the way.
Outside of birth work, my heart is most at home with my family. I cherish slow, simple moments with my husband and our two children—whether that’s playing dino family, laughing around the dinner table, or creating new memories together. I love animals, and very passionate about living a plant-based lifestyle, connecting with the earth, and finding joy in nourishing meals and everyday rituals.
It is such an honor to be invited into the sacred space of pregnancy, birth, and postpartum. Each family I support is a reminder of the resilience and love that surrounds this work, and I’m deeply grateful to walk this path.
